Research and Planning : digipak : generic conventions and analyzing digipak

A digipak is important to an artist because it help them express their values and ideologies towards the audience and can also tell a story for the artist. The impact of digipaks can have is lead to a promotions, such as  distributing the album making it eye catching to the audience.

The purpose of the digipak  for the artist is so they can express their artistic views and also trying to see if they can get the messages across through the looks of the digipak.

The generic conventions of  a digipak is 

  • Record label / Music company
  • the artists name and the name of the album 
  • bar code
  • Track listing /the songs

    Some good research here into digipaks and some good analysis into products that are comparable to your idea or will help you design and create your own.



    To improve;

    -identify more generic conventions of the digipak
    
-conclude with how the Rhianna and Rudimental analysis has helped you develop ideas that you will use for your own.
