Star Image
A star image is something what artist do to reinvent their
selves showing them self differently towards the audience, artist usually do
this can help the promotion, or gain a wider audience making more people buy
the singles and albums.
A music videos can help boost
an artists career this is done by the way that they are seen towards the audience
is in a different ways for example, in the music videos you tend to see the artist is costume is different, which could mean they have started to change by the way they are seen some artist do it to to make a comeback and go where the money is mostly at which is the pop genre, some artist just do it, because they are seeing things different towards life and society or something has happen in their life.
Miley Cyrus had an image being Disney’s princess Hannah Montana , have a TV show and making music such as Hannah Montana – Nobody`s Perfect, then after her last her last TV show Miley Cyrus let go of the Hannah Montana image, and changed to Miley Cyrus showing the audience that she is audience that she is a party animal and wanting to have fun the reason being is, for a promotion and getting in to the mainstream industry which she has done, this is show by her new singles such as Miley Cyrus – We Can’t Stop and wrecking ball
Beyoncé changed her image for a reinvent of her lifestyle
and the way that the audience had seen her back in 2003 Beyoncé was known to be a performer and a
woman with a great voice and her song writing for other artist, now she is
known to be a strong independent woman, and
also using her music video to show off her new clothing line through her music
videos Who Run The World Girls, and
Countdown. also from the music video we can see how she is a strong individual, not only through her lyrics but performance as well.
Michael Jackson is someone that has reinvented himself for a variety of things such as him being apart of the jackson five, then him going solo artist being at the top of charts and having number one albums and single in the country,. Another thing reason why michael jacson reinvented him self was from a court trial, what Michael Jackson was acused of sexual abuse, He wasnt found gulity but what he done was call a press conferance so they can understand that michael just wants to make music,.
The importance of a
star image is so the audience can see the artist in a specific way , and in my
music video I plan to represent my
artist in a party type of image shown the audience that the artist likes to
have fun for instants someone such as a Rita Ora image.
