Censorship is an act of changing or cutting certain this in
a music video, which are to explicit, to be herd or shown on music channels, a
some music videos are banned because of the inappropriate stuff which has been seen on the some music
videos, MTV is a successful company which has to protect the audience from any
explicit lyrics and visuals, for example Snoop Dogg`s music video called Wet
had to be changed to Wet because it was inappropriate to the audience.
The difference between explicit Content and explicit lyrics
Explicit content tend
to show numerous of things which have to get banned or cut before showing TV, the following content which cannot be shown on the TV is things such sex
violence and drugs which are show to relate back to the lyric in certain music
videos for example Duran Duran - Girls On Film
Duran Duran, "Girls on Film" (1981) A series of erotic vignettes, including suggestive pole dancing, pillow fights, sumo wrestling and one very oily massage, was more than enough to get Duran Duran's breakthrough hit banned by the BBC,
In this video by The Prodigy we can see that he is being violent towards women, and taking his anger out on them but we can also see a lot of extreme content of him going out to a strip club and having to much to drink and in a result to this the violence starts happening this is shown when the jump cuts get more faster in this music video.
M.I.A Born Free One young male gets shot in the head and another blown to pieces in this shocking 2010 video depicting redhead genocide. The violence along with some nudity in the beginning of the song
Explicit lyrics is similar to content but the different is
the lyrics used in a music, and if they want that certain song played on the TV
then it would either have to get blurred out or the lyrics would have to change
so it can be appropriate to play on some times if the song doesn't get censored
then what happens is the song would have to be played after hours. for example Eamon F**k it this song had a lot of bad language in this music video so what MTV done, was edit out the track, to miss out all the bad language

Conclusion
With this post which I have done on
censorship this shows me that I need to be careful, the reason being is so
people can get the right massage through , this is why I need to pick a song
which is clean, with no explicit lyrics so I can be more creative.
