Male gaze is how women are portrayed thorough a man’s
perspective, this can be brought up upon because of the type of clothing that
women wear in music videos, the way that women are represented in music videos
as objects, this is shown because of the camera lingers on the curves on a female
body, and in some events women are presented in the context of a man’s reaction
to these events.
Laura Mulvey is a British feminist film theorist,who believed that women are seen as a viaul pleasure for men which is shown through the way the camrea has protrayed them which is shown through and number of close ups.
